A Story of Love |
|
In 1995 I told my wife I just wanted to make enough money to buy her a Horse Farm. Sandra, my wife of 25 years, grew up riding and showing Quarter Horses in the cow pastures her family owned. She would always wish that in some way her Father would have a Horse Farm as well as a Cow Farm.
Sandra is now responsible for continuing the Angus Legacy her Father built. But what about the horses? As she began spending more time in Georgia, learning the cattle business, her Dad decided to re-kindle her love for horses, and had the Cattle Farm Manager, Mr. Jimmy, purchase a horse for her… He bought her a beautiful pinto racking horse that was the same color of her Paint Pony and similar to the Pinto Horses she loved as a child. When she first rode her newly purchased Pinto Racking Horse, "Magic,” Sandra came back to the barn smiling, and asked Mr. Jimmy what kind of horse Magic was, because she had never experienced such a smooth ride. A "light bulb" went off in the head of my lovely little lady!!!!!!!!!!! We have now gone from Racking Horses to Spotted Saddle Horses, to Tennessee Walkers and finally to the smoothest ride of all, THE PASO FINO. We have worked cattle, gone trail riding, and shown them. WE LOVE THE PASO FINO (especially the Pinto), and wanted to share our experience with others. We have spared no expense in the selection of mares and stallions with the goal of creating horses to meet our demands. Our staff of three trainers carefully bring along each prospect with the goal of providing you with a solid, experienced, confident athlete. 80% of horses are for the recreational rider and 20% for show. Go figure, where should we be concentrating to share our experiences? Now let's get this straight, there ain't nothin wrong with Show Paso Fino's, and we have some of the finest, but probably only less than 10% of all riders can enjoy them, due to their show training, breeding, and brio. We want to share "The Smoothest Ride in the World" with the ALL the riders, and we want to do it in COLOR. All this is part of making "Sandra’s Dream" come true! We are continuing to bring color into the World of Paso Finos! We are not the first, but I believe we will have the best Pinto Paso Finos in the WORLD. We want to make your dreams come true as they have for my loving wife Sandra, who, by the way, is still smiling! dy |
